General Questions

Our popcorn is made fresh to order without the use of artificial preservatives. Typically, popcorn will stay fresh for about 2 weeks.

Candied and Chocolate flavors will offer a longer shelf life than our seasoned varieties. If you are placing an order for a future event, you may select a pickup, ship out or delivery date at checkout. This is a great way to pre-order for the holidays!

We are also proud to offer our line of heat-sealed Signature Line bags that have an unopened shelf life of over six months!

To optimize your popcorn's freshness, store in a cool and dry environment. Once opened, let the air out of the bag and seal tightly.

When ordering our chocolate coated popcorn, please note that the chocolate may melt during hotter summer months. This will not affect the taste, and the chocolate will re-harden at room temperature.

Orders can be placed in store during business hours 11-5 Mon - Sat, or anytime online! Come on in and order a few bags, fill up your favorite popcorn tin, or grab a new one. Our convenient Austin store is here for all your daily popcorn needs!

*Orders tend to be processed 24-48 hours before the selected pick-up date to ensure our ability to meet demand. We kindly ask that for orders including party bags or over 100 units of popcorn, we are given at least 2-7 days lead time. Lead time for larger orders may be extended to two weeks during the holiday season. Please keep in mind that we get busy during holidays, so to ensure we have the quantity and flavors you are looking for, you may place a preorder via our website, by phone, or at our retail store.
Cornucopia popcorn is happy to hold orders that can not be picked up on the originally requested day. We tend to hold on to orders that were scheduled to be picked up in-store for a month after the requested pick-up date. After this time, the order will be marked as picked up and no longer available for pick-up

Yes! You heard right. Buy any size Cornucopia Popcorn tin and refill it in-store (and now online) for 50% off. To ensure we have the flavors you want, we suggest you call us at 512-840-1176 or contact us. 

Cornucopia Popcorn works directly with many non-profits and charitable organizations in and around Austin. Please contact us and tell us about your organization, charity and/or event. We recommend that you contact us with as much notice as possible, as our monthly/annual donation quota often fills up very quickly.

We are an independent, locally owned, and operated Woman company based in Austin TX. Founded by Nadia Elhaj in 2008, Cornucopia is the OG Austin popcorn shop. If you are interested in consulting services, opening your own popcorn business, or have any further questions regarding expansion, please contact us.

Yes, we offer next day delivery within central Austin, Monday through Friday, unless otherwise specified at checkout. Fees and availability vary by zip code. Please note that there is a $30 minimum for all deliveries. If you are interested in same day delivery, we recommend a service such as Favor or Uber Eats. There is no minimum for orders shipped via UPS. If you are located within Austin or surrounding cities, please call or contact us as UPS Ground may be available as a next day delivery option.

*Orders placed for same day delivery, or weekend delivery may be held till next business day.  

Absolutely—we like how you think! Let us help you create an unforgettable wedding, event, corporate gift, or tailgate party. We offer custom flavors, custom colors, and custom toppings. Don't forget the addition of custom packaging and logo labels. Custom orders typically require extra lead time and an order minimum of 100 cups (equivalent to a Party Bag). Many custom orders are available at no extra charge unless special ingredients are requested. Please call the shop or contact us to talk further about your custom popcorn order.

 

Our suggested serving size is 2 cups of popcorn per person. This is the equivalent of one of our Kids bags.

Shipping

Orders tend to be processed 24-48 hours before the selected ship date to ensure our ability to meet demand. Once this process begins, you will receive an email with a tracking number so that you may follow the popcorns journey to you. Orders are typically shipped within 2 business days, unless otherwise specified. We occasionally hold orders longer than 2 business days, to optimize popcorn freshness and prevent orders from sitting in a carrier warehouse over the weekend.

If your popcorn order is needed for a later date, you can specify that at checkout and we will delay order fulfillment and shipping to fit that timeline. If faster processing is desired, please call us at 512-840-1176 or contact us and we'll be happy to help.

 

 All shipping orders, outside of subscriptions, have the option to select a desired ship date. Once we have the order in hand, we will either file it for a future date, or begin the shipping process.

Orders are typically produced and processed 24-48 hours in advance (to keep popcorn super fresh). Order processing begins with creating the shipping label for the order, and then gathering the supplies needed for the order. Once the shipping label is created, an email will be sent to you with your order’s tracking information. Orders will then be set aside to be filled, usually either the requested shipping day, or the day before, depending on carrier. Once filled, your order will be boxed up and ready for our carrier partners to bring it your way! Shipping carriers are currently not ensuring shipping times. Orders will be processed within 48 hours of the requested shipping date.

Orders within Texas should arrive within 1-2 business days from time of ship out. Orders traveling outside of Texas typically arrive within 2-5 business days, depending on location and shipping method selected during checkout. Orders placed over the weekend will ship out next business day (Monday).

Prior to signing for, or opening your shipment, it is recommended that you check for any signs of damage to the box before opening and note any damage that exists. If there is obvious damage, please call the shipping carrier as soon as possible to submit a damage report. Please do not discard of the original packaging or product in the case that a claims process needs to be initiated.

If there is no damage to the box, but popcorn is damaged or you are unsatisfied with your order for any reason, please contact us with details and we will assist you promptly.
